U.S. Stock Futures Are Slightly Higher As Earnings Continue to Remain Strong
US futures are slightly higher as earnings continue to remain strong. Some highlights from earnings season include Tesla which reported strong earnings last night after the bell and United Airlines reported a better than expected forecast. Investors are also awaiting a policy speech from Fed Chair Powell who will be speaking at the IMF Debate on the Global Economy. In economic data, weekly jobless claims came in slightly higher than expected at 184,000. Markets in Asia closed mostly lower led by the Shanghai index while European markets are trading higher led by the DAX.
