U.S. Stock Futures Are Higher After Friday's Volatile Trading Session

U.S. stock futures are higher:  Overall markets are trading firmer this morning after a volatile Friday trading session.  This coming week major retailers will be releasing financial results and investors are expected to scrutinize these releases for inflationary pressures and earnings guidance.   FOMC minutes will be published on Wednesday and the market expects rate hikes at all the remaining Fed meetings.  10y treasury yields are steady at 2.83% , as fears of an economic slowdown is gaining traction, due to tightening Fed policy.  Treasury bond yields have pulled back over the last week.  European markets are trading higher in their midday trading.  Asian market closed mixed.
