U.S. stock futures are higher. Markets are looking to snap a recent slump triggered by uncertainty in the course of U.S. and global monetary policy. Yields are mixed after yesterday’s Fed minutes showed that officials anticipate further increases in the policy rate to be necessary to bring inflation to the 2% target. Weekly jobless claims came in lower than expected (192k vs. 200k est.) and Q4 2022 GDP was revised lower (2.7% vs 2.9% prev.). European stocks are trading higher and Asian markets closed the session lower. Crude is trading higher, the U.S. dollar is mostly unchanged and gold is trading lower.
