U.S. stock futures are higher. Futures are pointing to a modestly higher open as US equities are headed towards a downside finish on the week. Treasury yields are moving higher as investors anticipate the Fed’s next rate hike announcement on February 1st and a continued slate of Q4 earnings. European markets are higher in response to regional economic data and Asian markets finished to the upside ahead of Chinese markets being closed all next week in observance of the Lunar New Year. Crude oil, the US dollar, and gold are all gaining ground this morning.
