For our clients with accounts at TD Ameritrade, you may recall from our latest quarterly letters an important notice regarding your TD account. Q3 of this year will see the integration of the TD Ameritrade & Schwab platforms. As a result, all TD Ameritrade accounts will be transitioning to the Schwab platform September of 2023.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR MY ACCOUNTS WITH UNITED ASSET STRATEGIES?
- United has long standing relationships with both TD Ameritrade and Schwab. Your relationship to United will not change.
- The transition is scheduled to take place September 5th, 2023
- Schwab will automatically transfer your assets and holdings. There is nothing you need to do for your assets to be transferred.
- The United team will continue to provide updates along with those provided to you by TD Ameritrade and Schwab.
It is our goal at United to provide you with a seamless transition to the Schwab platform. Please continue to look for further communications from our team to stay up to date on what to expect as your accounts transition. Please note that accounts held on TD's retail platform follow a different transition schedule than the schedule below. TD & Schwab will provide updates over the course of 2023.
